Skin Care FAQ's
Myth: If you begin shaving at an early age you will have more hair on your face, legs, and/or underarms.
Truth: The amount of hair your body produces is strictly determined by heredity. Early shaving usually coincides with puberty and the increase of hair growth leading to the widely held belief of this myth.
Myth: Shaving causes hair to darken and re-grow thicker and faster.
Truth: Shaving only removes hair on the top layer of skin and doesn’t affect the color or thickness of the hair. As the hair in a shaven area re-grows it feels coarse and bristly. If the hair is allowed to re-grow it will regain its original appearance and feel.
